Enhance Your Experience with the Institute Emphasis Programs

Students may choose to add an Institute Emphasis, designed to allow more focused study in an area of interest. Only one Institute Emphasis may be added to the core curriculum. Options include:

College Audition Preparation Program

Available to rising seniors (graduating 2025) in all institutes.

For rising seniors graduating in 2025, the audition preparation program may be added to the standard CSI experience. The Audition Preparation Program is available on its own or in addition to an emphasis track.

Students who participate in the audition preparation program will engage directly with Matthew Miller, BW Director of Conservatory Admissions. Through hands-on classes, students will gain further insight into the college audition process. In addition, students will work with BW faculty on mock auditions and receive one private lesson with BW faculty.

Space is limited. Students accepted into the program are expected to bring to campus their selection for their college audition already prepared. Students can check with their college of interest for audition recommendations and guidelines.
