Acting Through Song: The Studio Class

Students will select their own material to perform and will be coached in initial group sessions. Students will then be given new material to prepare and perform in subsequent weeks of class. This class will focus on performing full-length songs. Students will learn how to shape a story within a song – the beginning, middle, climax and ending – and dig into the work of how to be an actor who sings. 

At the conclusion of this class, students will participate in a final recital on Saturday, November 5th at 4:00 p.m

Level: Intermediate (for students with at least 1 year of previous theatrical or singing experience)
