Intro to Songwriting

Introduction to Songwriting is for anyone who is interested in learning how to write songs, or for songwriters who would like to get their music into a digital format.  Using the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory Music Technology Lab, our instructor Andrew Dyet (BWU ’19, Calarts ’21) will first teach you how to use the software and then take you through the songwriting process.  A follow-up course, Songwriting Lab, will start in Spring of 2024 and be the next step for songwriters who have taken the Introductory Course.

Students can bring their own laptops to connect with the MIDI keyboards, or can use the Mac computers in the lab.
