Summer Intensive - Digital Audio Production

This recording technology course will give students aged 14+ the basic knowledge required to start producing, including audio design, MIDI instruments, hardware setup, software setup, mixing processes, automation, exporting, and more. Learn the basics of digital audio production and design in Logic Pro with a key focus on tools (EQ, compression, reverb, delay, saturation/distortion, etc.) used to shape and construct finished audio tracks. Philosophies of audio production and workflow will complement critical listening exercises, technical discussions, and the exploration of samples and instrumentation will also be discussed.
