During this masterclass, students will use prompts to write and edit original monologues! Engaging the imagination, they will develop a one-two minute monologue – receiving guidance and editorial help from the master teacher and/or assistant(s). Students will be encouraged to write something that they can share with their classmates, family, and friends during Session 2 “Sharing” time!

Little or no experience with playwriting needed. Writing materials will be provided.

Before the end of Session 1, students will have a working draft of their monologue. These drafts will then be used in Session 2, as the characters come to life. Session 2 Connect to your Creation! is December, 14 from 12:00-1:45 pm.
