Flute ensemble will emphasize a full resonant tone with attention to group skill-building in technique, rhythm and musicianship while practicing and performing with other flutists. “A Day In The Summer” is the name of our program this year. This program will highlight music from different genres letting your imagination focus on beautiful summer days while highlighting music such as  "Summer Day in the Mountains" by French composer, Bozza, and celtic piece, “Rose Cottage” by Catherine McMichael.

This group will be divided in two groups to study the music more efficiently, with a common time for all students. The common time (7:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.) will enable both groups to work together combining students of various levels to improve skill building and ensemble playing.

New flute ensemble participants will have a placement hearing and will be notified as to which class time they should attend. Instructor for this ensemble is Beth Elardo.

Registration deadline is June 15, 2022
