CONSERVATORY SUMMER INSTITUTE:
STRING
June 26 - July 2, 2022
Conservatory Summer Institute: String is filled with meaningful musical experiences and opportunities to build relationships with BW Conservatory Faculty and other talented young musicians. Students will tackle challenging, mature string repertoire under the mentorship and guidance of experienced string faculty. In addition, workshops and masterclasses regarding string improvisation and jazz studies will be offered.
Sample Curriculum
- Daily string ensemble rehearsals
- Chamber ensemble rehearsals
- Daily Dalcroze Eurhythmics classes
- Two, 45-minute private lessons on primary instrument
- Career Exploration workshops
CSI: String participants have the option to add on the Audition Preparation Program and/or the Composition Institute Emphasis to the core curriculum.
